About the role
Provide Oncology Physician Practice support to Medical Directors and Sr. Manager, Oncology Operations. Perform necessary schedule templates and audits for the efficient operations of a multi-location and multi-physician office practice(s). Maintain reference materials to ensure the most up to date materials are available to Practice staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate physician schedule templates in Qgenda and Epic for review by Senior Management, residents, fellows, and student observers.
- Conduct regular audits for critical operational effectiveness and additional education opportunities, including physician clinic and meeting schedules, work queue management, pre-encounter preparedness, and other audits as assigned.
- Report monthly trends and educational opportunities to Senior Manager of Oncology Operations.
- Ensure Epic resources are up to date; including work queue access, in-basket pools, and others as assigned. Report necessary changes to Senior Management.
- Administratively maintain Practice provider and staff onboarding materials.
- Administratively maintain Practice reference manuals and guidelines.
- Provide research and administrative support for special projects.
- All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of clerical experience with direct customer/patient service (required)
- 2 years clerical experience in a medical office setting (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Secretarial Science or Office Technology
