About the role
This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as clinical SME for operational team members
- Mentor and support fellow OPECs clinicians through coaching, best-practice sharing, and issue escalation support
- Practice partnership & enablement: Serve as primary clinical point of contact for oncology practices; build trusted partnerships to enable Value Based Network/Total Cost Of Care program success and adoption of Carelon's Oncology solutions
- Absorb and translate performance reporting and analytics, including the Carelon Provider Dashboard, into scalable tools, guidance, and practice transformation approaches
- Contribute to solution strategy, provider engagement design, and leading multiple project-based work
Requirements
- Requires BA/BS in Nursing, Pharmacy or Pharm D or MS in Social Work and a minimum of 7 years of experience in oncology, palliative care, medical management, care management, value-based care, or quality improvement; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Current, valid, active unrestricted license (RN, NP, PA, or RPh, MSW or LCSW) in applicable state(s) or territory of the United States required
- For URAC accredited areas, the following professional competencies apply. OCN/NP preferred
- Experience in oncology preferred. Oncology practice leadership preferred. Experience leading Value Based Care initiatives preferred
