Oncology & Hematology APP – McLeod Seacoast
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care, including follow-up visits, new patient evaluations, and ongoing management of complex conditions.
- Collaborate closely with supervising physicians Dr. Donny Huynh and Dr. Kerolos Rizk in a busy, patient-focused practice.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team that includes 2 physicians (with additional recruitment underway), 1 Nurse Practitioner, medical laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, nurse educators, nurse navigators, and clinical support staff.
- Participate in a structured onboarding program including McLeod provider orientation, Epic training, and physician shadowing (2–4 weeks total).
- Occasional call responsibilities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of oncology and/or hematology experience required.
- OCN certification preferred but not required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient oncology setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care with a focus on patient satisfaction.
About the Role
McLeod Oncology and Hematology Associates Seacoast is located at the McLeod Cancer Center for Treatment and Research in Little River, South Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, outpatient oncology and hematology setting alongside an established team of physicians and clinical support staff.
Requirements
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of oncology and/or hematology experience. OCN certification is preferred but not required. ACLS certification is required. Candidates must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient oncology setting and possess strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills. Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
The work schedule is Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM.
