Hematology/Oncology APP Opportunity

The MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care team is expanding and is actively seeking a Full-time employed Oncology Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with cancer
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and manage patient care
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of oncology care
• Advocate for patient needs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology experience as a Nurse Practitioner (or minimum of 3 years of oncology RN experience with current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) certification)
• Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in both Iowa and Illinois
• Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications consistent with scope of practice
