Onboarding Specialist, Resourcing
Responsibilities
- Mets onboarding time frames and collaborates with multiple departments throughout the organization.
- Manages background and drug screening checks for hires.
- Manages I-9 process to ensure compliance with E-Verify as well as conducts quarterly I-9 audits.
- Collaborates with each new hire to complete their onboarding tasks, compliance requirements, including accuracy and completion of new hire paperwork prior to start date.
- Manages new hire inquiries regarding their onboarding process.
- Provides knowledge and interpretation on the company’s policies and benefits.
- Ensures all required documentation is properly documented and stored in applicable HR applications for all hires.
- Captures new hire orientation.
- Collaborates with talent acquisition team regarding changes in start dates due to onboarding paperwork delays or compliance issues.
- Assists in designing and developing onboarding initiatives including work instructions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred.
- Solid understanding of general human resources benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in HRIS system, preferably ADP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, highly resourceful, proactive task execution, drive for results, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and customer focus.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to think independently and execute good judgment in making decisions.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with people of all levels in order to foster collaborative practices.
- Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written required.
Benefits
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $44,400 to $55,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
