About the role
The On-Site Operations and Facility Manager is responsible for providing on-site management and regional support for Print/Scan/Mail/Hospitality and Office Service functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of Site Management experience in a corporate office environment and managing a team of 5+ employees.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary contact for general office management, operational facility issues and requests
- Cook with vendors – Crafty, Iron Mountain, Pro Shred
- Coordinate and assist in implementation of future of work
- Provide hands-on support for basic maintenance
- Engage approved vendors as needed to complete repairs
- Partner with necessary internal departments including EUC
- Ensure timely follow up and work order completion
- Perform backup to Facility Manager for all sites as necessary
- Perform on-site event coordination and planning with global Events Team
- Professional and friendly customer service; verbal and written interaction with internal and external clients with excellent use of business etiquette and critical thinking skills
- Hospitality services: Conference room management (i.e setting up/breakdown for meetings and events, arranging and moving tables/chairs, assist with catering orders, other related tasks as needed)
- Mail/Copy/Print Center - Ability to manage workflow and direct team in best practices and utilize current technology to leverage workflow. Make viable recommendations on industry trends and solutions to improve operations efficiency
- Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines; take direction from Sr. Management and maintain communication with full participation in all scheduled meetings
- Participate in cross-training and develop plans for the execution of cross-training of team members
- Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail
- Adequate adherence to safety procedures; perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior Office/Corporate/Facility Management experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency required
- High School Diploma or GED required; authorization to work for any employer in the US required
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to confidently interact with clients and visitors
- Willingness to cross-train for other job functions and must be a working manager
- Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
