About the role

LBPM + Fairgrove provides professional Residential, Commercial, and HOA property management services throughout Southern California. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creating positive experiences for property owners, residents, tenants, and community associations.

The Onsite Manager oversees the daily operations of an apartment community, including leasing, resident relations, property maintenance coordination, and overall community appearance. This role requires excellent customer service, organization, and professionalism.

Schedule

Part-Time: 12 hours per week

Pay

$18.42 per hour

Housing

Discounted 1 bedroom apartment available. Must live onsite.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for residents and vendors.
• Respond to emergencies, including after-hours issues.
• Handle leasing, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Show available units and market vacancies.
• Maintain resident and property records in AppFolio.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate unit turnovers.
• Keep the property clean and well-maintained, including light porter duties (sweeping and cleaning).
• Coordinate vendors and monitor completed work.
• Track vacancies, work orders, and other property performance metrics.
• Review and approve vendor invoices.
• Order property supplies and maintain inventory.
• Stay up to date on landlord-tenant and fair housing laws.
• Attend company meetings and training.

Requirements

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be willing to live onsite.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; AppFolio experience is a plus.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work weekends when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
