On-Site Healthcare IT & Facilities Manager

About the role

The IT Support Specialist will serve as the primary on-site IT resource for all staff, providers, and leadership at Madison Medical & Sports Rehabilitation Center.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site IT resource for all staff, providers, and leadership
  • Manage and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, docking stations, network infrastructure, and peripherals
  • Administer Microsoft 365 environment (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive), user accounts, and permissions
  • Support EMR (CureMD), Paychex, RingCentral, and other practice platforms
  • Cook up with external MSP (Titanium) and vendors as needed
  • Manage hardware procurement, setup, and lifecycle (including Thunderbolt 4 docking station environment)
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, access controls, and HIPAA-compliant IT policies
  • Proactively identify technology improvements and support operational efficiency initiatives
  • Maintain an IT asset inventory and vendor/login management system
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of staff (account creation, hardware setup, access provisioning)

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a healthcare or multi-location professional environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Windows OS, and basic networking
  • Experience with healthcare IT systems (EMR platforms, HIPAA security requirements) preferred
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed — not someone who waits to be told what to do
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Familiarity with printer management, VoIP phone systems (RingCentral), and A/V equipment a plus
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications preferred but not required
