On-Site CSR II
Job Duties
- Responds to customer inquires regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
- Plays a role in influencing Motion Industries' gross profit by negotiating the sale price and purchase price, within certain parameters.
- Adjusts non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands based on competition, while maximizing profit for Motion Industries.
- Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and driving process improvements.
- Orders items to maintain appropriate inventory levels for customers.
- Places orders without approval for amounts up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order.
- Expedites backorders and may pull inventory and prepare orders for shipment to customers.
- Sources products from branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory.
- Determines the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders.
- Handles customer returns and supports specific customers.
- Aids less experienced Customer Service Representatives in addressing customer needs, including locating items and resolving problems.
Requirements
- Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Reliability, organization, and attention to detail are required.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening, are necessary.
- Strong computer skills are essential.
- Strong negotiation skills are required.
- Basic product knowledge is beneficial.
