On-Site CSR

Job Duties

• Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for Consignment customers.
• Responsible for sourcing products in branch inventory, Distribution Center inventory or supplier inventory.
• Sells Motion Industries’ assets by identifying and influencing Gross Profit through negotiation of sale and purchase prices.
• Generates sales by promoting Motion Industries’ products to existing customers.
• Expedites backorders by pulling inventory and preparing orders for shipment to customers.
• May handle customer returns and place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per Purchase Order without approval.
• Adjusts non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit for Motion Industries.
• Minimizes Branch freight costs by determining the most cost-effective method to fulfill customer orders.
• Routinely interacts with customers to obtain and fulfill orders correctly.
• Interacts with suppliers as necessary to obtain pricing for items.
• Partners with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assists customers by troubleshooting via telephone or email and identifying correct parts.

Requirements

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Moderate computer skills, including information processing, email communication, and internet search capabilities.
• Good driving record required.
• Reliability, organization, and attention to detail required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Motion Industries’ products and services.
• Understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
• Experience in customer service and sales.
• Basic knowledge of financial metrics related to Gross Profit.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
