About the role

This Assistant Project Manager role is built for someone who's organized, people-focused, and energized by a fast-moving environment. Working side by side with our seasoned Project Managers and other stakeholders, you'll help drive our commercial drywall projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a communication link between project managers, clients, and field teams to keep projects aligned.
  • Aid in planning, scheduling, and allocating resources to hold timelines and budgets.
  • Partner with field crews to maintain strong workmanship standards and keep clients satisfied.
  • Tackle unexpected issues head-on with creativity and persistence.
  • Document project progress, keep records current, and report updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify process improvements that make the team more efficient.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or comparable work experience.
  • At least 1 year in commercial construction or project coordination - exposure to drywall, finishing, or a related field is ideal.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable working in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with construction management software is a plus.
