On-Call Van Driver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• College degree preferred.
• Must present driving record that meets minimum requirements of District insurance carrier.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and ability to drive a school van following all safety regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and the administration.
• Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Able to work in a friendly manner with co-workers and students.
• Able to read and understand maps.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form.
• Able to perform duties with awareness of all District requirements and DECA Governing Board policies.
• Must have a satisfactory background check consistent with state and federal laws.
