On - Call Coordinator

About the role

Touching Hearts at Home of CNY is seeking an On-Call person to provide excellent caregiver and client support beyond regular office hours and on weekends for older adults and their families in a professional and appropriate manner.

Main Duties

• Answer all phone calls outside of regular office hours (weekdays 4:30 pm–8:00 am; weekends or holidays 8:00 am–8:00 am).
• Politely and efficiently resolve any client service issues, scheduling issues or adjustments.
• Monitor the On-Call email and respond as needed.
• Maintain an On-Call log of events that happened during your shift.
• Perform any other tasks requested by Touching Hearts Office Staff.

Other Requirements

• Must have reliable phone service and internet access throughout the shift.
• Must be available and able to answer and respond to incoming phone calls throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma required.
• 1 year of experience in an administrative role within an office or customer service setting; preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Passion for helping seniors remain safe and independent wherever they call home.
• Must have reliable cell phone, tablet or computer with access to the internet during your shift.
• A background check is required.
