OMS - Technical Project Manager
About the role
Responsible for owning and defining the product vision and strategy, the roadmap, feature delivery, and overall success of the product to enable a best-in-class E2E experience. They manage a backlog of features and enablers to enhance the product and extend its architectural and discovery runway. They are responsible for overall product health, inclusive of technical health, and risk communication. They provide leadership and guidance on how to sequence and prioritize investments to optimize value. This is an individual contributor role who will lead product teams to achieve key outcomes by collaborating with Product Owners, Domain Owners, and Analysts and is responsible for creating a positive team culture through growing, coaching, and establishing high performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and define the product vision and strategy, roadmap, feature delivery, and overall product success
- Manage a backlog of features and enablers to enhance the product and extend its architectural and discovery runway
- Ensure overall product health, inclusive of technical health, and communicate risks
- Provide leadership and guidance on sequencing and prioritizing investments to optimize value
- Lead product teams to achieve key outcomes by collaborating with Product Owners, Domain Owners, and Analysts
- Create a positive team culture through growing, coaching, and establishing high performing teams
- Translate product and capability roadmaps into short-term, tactical delivery plans
- Structure data analysis, driving analytics insights and analytical solutions to understand customer behaviors and insights
- Translate business opportunities into analytical problems (e.g., how to grow a business)
- Work cross-functionally across technical and business domains
- Present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
Qualifications
- Strong product management skills with a proven track record of translating product and capability roadmaps into short-term, tactical delivery plans
- Familiarity with big data concepts
- Ability to structure data analysis and drive analytics insights to understand customer behaviors
- Understanding of key drivers of business value and ability to frame them as analytical problems
- Willingness to understand and probe into technical details
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work cross-functionally across technical and business domains
- Ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders
- Familiarity with cloud technology and experience building systems that scale
