Oliver Wyman helps industry leaders in the consumer, telco, and technology industries develop value growth strategies, improve operations, and maximize organizational effectiveness. Our clients include wireless and wireline equipment and communications service providers; enterprise IT, consumer electronics, and semiconductor companies; and broadcasters, publishers, platform operators, online, and entertainment companies.
In Consumer, Telco, and Technology (CTT), we see consumer-facing industries converging, with technology continuing to disrupt all business models, and B2C, B2B, and B2B2C services models ever-growing. We aim to build new Partner connections by bringing together those serving consumer-facing businesses, such as retailers, as well as technology, communications, media, and services to further elevate our narratives and executive relevance while maintaining deep sub-sector capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of individual project workstreams, including developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively tackling information limitations, and surfacing insights.
- Synthesize findings into written presentations and review and discuss with clients and other stakeholders.
- Support the Partner group in project delivery through accurate and high-quality execution.
- Report to Engagement Managers and Principals, seeking guidance for technical expertise or senior-level advice on project execution and client engagement.
- Coach consultants and help them develop their skill sets.
Requirements
- At least 3-6 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or similar organization.
- Experience within Retail, Consumer Goods, Telecommunications, Software/Technology, or Media industries preferred but not required.
- Familiarity or experience with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
- A strong background in strategic problem-solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
- Willingness to travel.

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $205,000 CAD. The base pay offered will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Schedule
- Hybrid work model, with flexibility for remote work and in-office collaboration.
