Friendly Visiting

Queen Community House's Friendly Visiting Program matches homebound older adults with volunteers in their community. We are currently in need of Friendly Visiting volunteers to provide social engagement to older adults in our community.

• Enriching opportunity for the volunteer to develop a meaningful friendship
• Discuss shared interests, learn/teach new skills, read books, learn technology, play board games and much more

Requirements

• Must be 18 and over
• Commit to 6 months of volunteerism
• Consent to a background check
• Provide 2 non-familial references
