Oil Change Technician

About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated individuals ready to work in a fast-paced environment as an Automotive Oil Change Technician. This position is intended to be a starting point for your career in the Automotive Industry, with a career program available for technicians regardless of experience level. We provide training for your position and a pathway to becoming a fully certified Toyota Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance needs (oil changes, tire rotations, filters, batteries, wipers) according to the repair order for each vehicle.
• Work in a high-efficiency two-person team.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, including providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service, keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
• Present a friendly, professional greeting to customers and help identify, confirm, and offer resolution to customer concerns.
• Ensure the customer’s needs are understood and met.

Requirements

• Prior experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills — effectively communicates with others.
• Excellent time management — managing one’s own time and the time of others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• Proven record of achieving exceptional Customer Satisfaction.
• Personal and professional integrity.
• Positive attitude.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
