Oil and Tire Changer - Budget Truck - FT
About the role
This role is a great opportunity to gain experience working on a fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands while building a strong foundation in automotive and truck maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and light repair work on our fleet of box trucks and cargo vans.
- This includes oil and fluid services, tire repairs and rotations.
- You may assist more experienced technicians with additional repairs and diagnostics as your skills develop.
- You may also be required to drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or operational needs.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C)
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior auto maintenance experience
- Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels
- Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
- Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance
- Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
- 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program is a bonus
Qualifications
