Oil and Tire Changer - Budget Truck - FT

About the role

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience working on a fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands while building a strong foundation in automotive and truck maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair work on our fleet of box trucks and cargo vans.
• This includes oil and fluid services, tire repairs and rotations.
• You may assist more experienced technicians with additional repairs and diagnostics as your skills develop.
• You may also be required to drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or operational needs.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C)
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior auto maintenance experience
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program is a bonus

Qualifications
