Lube and Tire Technician - Budget Truck - FT

About the role

This role offers hands-on automotive work on box trucks and cargo vans, providing opportunities to grow your career while supporting essential vehicle fleets.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair work on the fleet of box trucks and cargo vans
• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs and rotations
• Assist more experienced technicians with additional repairs and diagnostics as needed
• Drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or operational needs

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C)
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior auto maintenance experience
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently
• Able to obtain DOT medical clearance
• At least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program is a bonus
