Offline Utility Relief | Day Shift

About the role

This position is Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The Offline Utility Relief role assists with filling in for absent employees, relieving employees for breaks, and handling sew-on waste.

Responsibilities

• Give breaks in the finishing department and fill in for absent employees on the Coater, Reshear, Weigh, and record sew-on waste
• Assist in keeping the department clean and orderly

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, and stoop
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs occasionally
• Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations
• Must participate in group stretching prior to shift

Requirements

• Must be applicable to all Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Power Industrial Truck (PIT) training required
• Valid Hyster/lift truck license

• Use appropriate tools depending on which operator is being relieved for breaks or absence
• Pole Hyster Fork
• Hyster Turkey Knife
• Cutting Glove
• Dennison Gun

Safety & Security

• Responsible for reporting any safety or potential problems to management
• Responsible for the quality and safety of own output and that of coworkers

Schedule
