Officer/Sr. Officer - Spot Purchase (Grain Crops Item)

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase grain crops from farmers, traders, and local suppliers as per demand and market availability
• Visit sourcing markets regularly to assess crop availability, quality, and pricing trends
• Support price negotiation and purchasing decisions under guidance of senior management
• Monitor market trends, seasonal factors, and local demand-supply movements and report findings
• Inspect grain quality at purchase points and ensure compliance with company QA/QC standards
• Cookordination with QA teams to resolve quality deviations at receiving points
• Cookordination with logistics and transport teams for timely delivery to warehouses or factories
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to purchase orders, delivery, stock movement, and agreements

Requirements

• Experience: 2-6 years
• Education: bachelor of science
