Responsibilities
- Assists with hiring and responsible for training of all MSA Office Specialists, Office Coordinators and Authorization Specialists, including communication of new policies, procedures, workflows and expectations with all direct reports.
- Provide ongoing monitoring of quality/productivity by developing, updating, and performing a series of audits through work queues, client Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and reviews of MSA authorization and front office workflow documentation.
- Continuously analyze clinic needs and suggest ways to improve productivity, accuracy, and quality within the front desk workflows.
- Manages day to day MSA front office and MSA authorization specialist team including performance management, reviewing and approving employee timesheets and payroll, and employee scheduling and paid time off requests.
- Serve as the main point of contact between the MSA client business office and ATI, responding to requests that involve patient billing, denials, medical record requests, patient appointment requests, etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum Experience Required: 2 or more years in an administrative position
- At least 5 years of office experience, preferably in a health-related field
- At least 1 year of lead/supervisory experience
- Preferred: Previous health care business office experience including insurance verification, authorization, revenue cycle support or related field
- Familiar with healthcare information systems such as EPIC, NextGen, etc.
- Experience with ATI’s IT product suite preferred
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience
