About the role
As an Office Specialist in the Access Nebraska Document Imaging (ANDI) Center, you will play a critical role behind the scenes, ensuring important documents and applications are processed accurately and efficiently so individuals and families can receive the support they need.
Schedule
The ANDI Center offers a variety of work shifts between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Current opening: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, sort, scan, and index documents with accuracy and attention to detail
- Process Economic Assistance and Medicaid applications in a timely manner
- Update and maintain information in state computer systems
- Prepare and send correspondence to applicants
- Contact clients to obtain information needed to process applications
- Assist with document storage and records destruction
- Review records, reports, and documents to verify completeness and accuracy
- Support staff and supervisors by providing information needed for program decisions
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; research; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency.
- OR Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
