Office Services Lead
About the role
The Office Services Lead supports the Houston office of Cherry Bekaert, an accounting and consulting firm known for its innovative advisory, assurance, and tax services. Reporting directly to the Administrative Manager, this role involves guiding operational initiatives, resolving complex challenges, and advancing client service through technology and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Guidance and oversight for firm service line offerings, ensuring effective execution of operational and administrative support, and other service-specific deliverables.
- Supports team members in workflow management, process optimization, and issue resolution.
- Manage other administrative team members across multiple offices.
- Engage with internal clients to gain a deeper understanding of their needs and develop tailored solutions to enhance outcomes.
- Utilize technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of client service delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical standards and documentation.
- Carry out general on-site tasks such as operational support, breakroom and kitchen duties, visitor and staff assistance, front desk support, and mail and supply management.
- Onboard and mentor new team members, providing training and orientation through prepared materials and structured onboarding initiatives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on advanced technical topics based on role and team.
- Facilitate discussions to translate leadership initiatives into actionable plans within the team.
Requirements

- Strong working knowledge in various software platforms including Microsoft Office 365.
