Responsibilities

• Install insulation throughout buildings, including:
  • Exterior wall cavities
  • Attic floor or roof deck
  • Rim joists
  • Crawl space or basement walls
• Ensure insulation meets or exceeds local energy code R-values
• Install vapor barrier where required
• Verify completion of rough inspections
• Install wall and attic insulation
• Insulate rim joists and cathedral ceilings
• Insulate crawl spaces
• Seal penetrations and install foam board at rim joists
• Verify full coverage with no gaps
• Obtain insulation inspection approval
