About the role
The office nurse serves as a liaison between physicians, extenders, patients, and hospitals. They ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care tailored to the specific needs of designated patients, based on physicians' orders, Parkview policies, and professional standards. This role involves collaborating with management, physicians, and colleagues to deliver exceptional service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care via telephone and direct contact
- Collaborate with management, physicians, and coworkers to ensure excellent service
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, significant other, and healthcare team member information
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure in the practicing state
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- 2 years experience in a medical setting, with specialty experience preferred
- Medical terminology and pharmacology background recommended
- Essential computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records
- Good verbal and written communication skills
