Why Nurses Love This Role:100% remote- work from homeNo bedside lifting or hospital burn outThe variety of scheduling optionsCompetitive Pay + excellent benefitsSupportive, collaborative team culturePaid training & equipment is providedOpportunities for bilingual pay incentive As a Telephone Triage RN, you’ll use clinical expertise and technology to guide patients across the lifespan & determine the best way to address their medical issues and concerns over the phone: You will:Assess symptoms using physician-developed clinical algorithmsDeliver & document health education to assist patients in managing their symptoms when indicatedAssist in getting patients to the appropriate level of care (e.g. home care, an office visit, emergency room)Consult with physicians as needed RequirementsQualifications / ExperienceCurrent multi-state RN license with no restrictions; nurses currently holding a single-state RN license must obtain a multi-state license prior to being made a job offer2+ years of RN experienceProficiency using computers and type a minimum of 25 wpmExcellent listening and comprehension skills to determine key information by patient Remote Workstation / HIPAA RequirementsMust have a high-speed internet connectionWorkstation must be in a room where door can be lockedDesk should be large enough to hold 2 monitors, computer, accessories + hands-free headsetAbility to handle confidential information; HIPAA compliance is mandatory Remote Training ScheduleFormat: Virtual (Zoom)Duration: 3 weeks Attendance: 100% attendance requiredWeek 1: September 14th – September 18th M-F Live Zoom 10:00 am-2:00 pm EST then 4hrs/day of Self-StudyWeek 2: September 21st – September 25th M-F Live Zoom 10:00 am-2:00 pm EST then 4hrs/day of Self-StudyWeek 3: September 28th – October 2nd M-F Shift days/times with a preceptor will be discussed with education manager.
