Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and greet and assist campus guests.
- Making copies, scanning and filing documents.
- Providing courier duties around campus.
- Data entry related to RSVP taking and timely responses to guests.
Required Qualifications
- Search for students who are friendly, dependable, detail oriented, and service orientated.
- A basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word is required.
- Applicants With FWS Award Preferred.
- The ideal candidate is dependable, prompt, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Takes initiative in completing tasks and desires to build/grow his/her skills.
- Easily works both individually and as part of a team and has a strong work ethic.
- Holds a positive attitude (must be flexible and adaptable to change).
- Interested in communications, business operations and/or event planning/event management (a willingness to do any and all of the above).
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication skills (email, phone and in person).
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Trustworthy (maintain confidentiality of Belmont records).
- A positive attitude (must be flexible and adaptable to change).
Required Education
- Applicants must be enrolled as current students at Belmont University.
Required Experience
- Reception, office experience and/or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Any work experience, whether paid or voluntary, is acceptable.
