Job Summary The rate is $15.00 per hour. OFFICE ASSISTANT (TEMP) The CASL Internship Center is seeking an energetic student with strong customer service skills to provide clerical support to the staff. The ideal candidate would start in late August and be able to continue employment throughout the 2025-2026 academic year. An average of 15 hours can be expected, with flexible scheduling around course schedules. Must be able to work in minimum 2-hour blocks during the work day. We are open 9 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday. This position is fully in-person, located in the CASL building. Responsibilities Make classroom-recruiting visitsCreate social media content and flyersEvent planningAssist with correspondence, maintaining files, and answering routine questions from faculty, students, and staff. Required Qualifications Current degree-seeking student at UM-Dearborn. Lack of judicial or honors offenses. Strong clerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Sheets and DocsEnsure confidentiality and security of application data and materials at all timesAbility to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgroundsAbility to follow directions and pay close attention to detailAble to make sound decisions and work independently and as part of a team Desired Qualifications Qualify for Federal Work StudySophomore or Junior undergraduate status preferred.Experience in public speaking is a plus.
