Office Manager - NYSCAS Sonography Program

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones to assist or direct callers accordingly
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Aiding students
  • Create and update documents
  • Create semester calendars
  • Plan program events
  • Periodic proctoring of exams
  • Aid with purchasing of Program equipment and supplies
  • Liaise between the Program Director and the students
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and clinical instructors
  • Maintain student confidentiality at all times
  • Aid with student admissions process (interview scheduling, liaise with the Admissions team to streamline application process, etc.)
  • Liaise with other administrative offices, such as Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registrar
  • Maintain student files (registration, clinical documents, FERPA, etc.)
  • Photocopying
  • Other basic office work
  • Other administrative tasks upon request

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in higher education administration
  • Must be organized, have strong communication skills, take initiative, be self-motivated, and be able to function effectively in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook

Pay

Maximum Salary USD $60,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary USD $48,000.00/Yr.
