About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all employees by exceeding the mission statement.
  • Lead by example and fulfill the Mission Statement, Service Promise, and department service standards.
  • Coach and support Team Members to ensure they have the skills, tools, and resources to deliver the Five Star Experience.
  • Practice, support, and promote the Five Star Experience company-wide service mission and standards.
  • Answer and screen incoming calls, arrange conference calls, and assist with computer software/hardware and forms.
  • Compose correspondence, research, compile, and type statistical reports.
  • Cook up and maintain meeting agendas, arrange and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe meeting minutes.
  • Establish updates and maintain manual and computer software filing systems.
  • Explain policies regarding time and leave, gather and summarize data for briefs, reports, and correspondence, and prepare various forms and requests.
  • Greet visitors, maintain personnel records, prepare and distribute bulletins and newsletters, and query electronic mail systems.
  • Maintain excellent communications with all Directors and Supervisors.
  • Implement approved departmental policies and procedures, monitor the budget, and ensure compliance with internal control standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and nurture a positive work environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining a disciplined environment and promoting safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Coordinate and supervise training, assignments, and development of subordinates.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to guests and vendors.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Degree (or GED)
  • Five (5) years (or equivalent) of supervisory/management experience.

Qualifications

  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Sometimes required to use upper extremities, including hands and fingers to handle, or feel.
  • Sometimes required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to use repetitive movements to complete tasks.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and/or push, pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to work in low light conditions and exposed to loud noise for extended periods.

Work Environment

  • Multiple locations.
  • Some enterprises are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  • Must be flexible to work any and all hours.
  • Must be available for emergency calls 24/7.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Some enterprises are gaming facilities.
  • Some enterprises are not a smoke-free environment.
  • Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most of the facilities on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis.
