About the role
TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency ("RF") components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards ("PCB"s). The Maintenance Manager oversees all maintenance operations across two manufacturing facilities (234 and ATC/850), ensuring equipment, machinery, and infrastructure operate at peak efficiency with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of equipment & facility maintenance technicians, including a maintenance supervisor
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team
- Cook up shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage for 24/7 operations
- Manage team overtime hours to align with operational needs and business objectives
- Maintenance Operations
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate rapid repairs to restore production operations
- Ensure all maintenance work orders are completed accurately, on time, and properly documented
- Cook up maintenance schedules with production planners to minimize impact on manufacturing output
- Manage maintenance activities during planned projects during holiday shutdowns
- Systems Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders, equipment history, and maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Utilize reliability engineering principles (RCM, FMEA, RCA) to improve equipment reliability and extend asset life
- Drive implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies initiatives
- Analyze maintenance data and KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Facilities & Contractor Management
- Oversee all contractor activities: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
- Manage janitorial contracted services, groundskeeping, snow removal, and parking lot maintenance to ensure the building is maintained as required
- Manage and update building CAD drawings
- Financial & Inventory Management
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, including labor, parts, and contractor expenses
- Work closely with Finance and General Manager to maintain an even budget and communicate emergency spends as needed
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through improved maintenance strategies and energy efficiency
- Manage an extensive spare parts inventory to ensure availability
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations
- Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and other critical TTM safety procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions for identified hazards
- Lead or participate in safety audits and incident investigations
- Support all regulatory and organizational audits (ISO, HSE, insurance, etc.)
- Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain a clear, consistent 24/7 communication thread with entire management team of any high impact equipment and facility issues
- Cook up with engineering and operations teams on capital improvement projects
- Support IT infrastructure needs, including data and phone systems
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial Engineering (or related field) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in facilities and maintenance management, or combination of education and experience
- Experience 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in printed circuit board industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC systems
- Very strong understanding of various PLC platforms
- CAD experience is a plus
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems and automation technology
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience with reliability tools: RCA, FMEA, RCFA, TPM
- CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional)
- Licensed Electrician or PE (Professional Engineer)
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt

- Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience
- As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado
- For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to:
- a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents;
- b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation;
- c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL);
- d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US;
- e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
