Facilities and Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day facilities operations of the manufacturing facility, including machine shop, production lines and specialty testing and process equipment.
- Establish, maintain, improve and oversee EHS programs.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments (Engineering, Production, Maintenance, IT) and external vendors for all facilities-related matters.
- Implement preventative maintenance program and oversee all repairs for production, process and testing equipment.
- Commission new process equipment, machines and specialty testing apparatus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial/Facilities Management or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- 10 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager within manufacturing environments including extensive involvement in industrial operations.
- Strong understanding of machine shop operation, specialty equipment, utility requirements and EHS compliance.
- Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation and technical oversight.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with high-power electrical testing, including electrical systems commissioning, load testing, grounding and safety protocols a plus.
- Certified Facilities Manager Credential a plus.
- Resourceful and pragmatic.
- Detail-oriented with an ownership mentality.
- Resilient, independent and adaptive.
- Able to handle ambiguity and drive results with minimal oversight.
Qualifications
- Personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection or masks may be required in some production areas.
- May require evening/weekend availability for emergency or during critical phases of projects.
Benefits
$100,000 - $140,000
Schedule
Time will be split between office and shop floor.
