About the role
The Office Manager supports the physicians and reports to the Practice Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supports physicians with administrative tasks
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information
- Uses Microsoft Office applications and maintains advanced proficiency with GE Centricity
- Manages electronic medical records
- Processes patient billing and accounts
- Ensures smooth operation of the office
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant/Secretary program preferred
- One to three years Administrative Assistant/Medical Office experience strongly preferred
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reads, writes, and communicates in English
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and moderate keyboarding
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Familiarity with patient billing, account processes, third party billing and revenue cycle preferred
Pay
$27.00 - $34.00 / Hourly
Schedule
Day shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm
