Office Manager - Community Hospice Albany
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support administrative staff.
- Cook up workloads to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Manage staff scheduling, time-off coverage, and cross-training activities.
- Orient, train, and mentor new and existing administrative team members.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented work environment.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide administrative support for clinical directors, patient care supervisors, nursing staff, and schedulers.
- Aid in meeting coordination, agenda preparation, minute-taking assignments, and follow-up activities.
- Handle office maintenance and operational needs, including building, equipment, and vendor-related issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to improve workflows and internal processes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and agency committees.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Three to five years of administrative or secretarial experience with increasing leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Previous healthcare, hospice, home care or medical office experience as well as experience with electronic medical record systems (EMR) preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software applications.

Pay
The pay range is $28.55 - $41.40 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
