Job Overview
Cowboys Big Iron Services, LLC is seeking a flexible, dependable, and highly organized Office Manager / Bookkeeper (Hybrid) to join our team. This role involves supporting daily office operations, assisting the CFO with administrative and financial tasks, processing payroll in QuickBooks, and helping keep internal systems running efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support CFO with administrative, financial tasks like invoice tracking, expense entry, and record maintenance.
- Process weekly payroll using QuickBooks, including certified reports for NM prevailing wage compliance.
- Manage accounts payable, check deposits, invoicing, and collaborate with bookkeeper on statements/deposits.
- Organize office operations, employee/vendor/company files with accuracy and confidentiality in hybrid setup.
- Oversee fleet records, licensing, permitting, and NM MVD compliance.
- Cook schedules, communications, onboarding, compliance docs, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience in office management, admin, bookkeeping, or payroll (QuickBooks proficiency required).
- Excellent multitasking, detail-oriented skills; thrives under pressure in fast-paced settings.
- Strong communication and team attitude; Microsoft Office/Google Workspace savvy.
- Preferred: Construction, paving, contracting, or field services background (AP, fleet, certified payroll); Supporting executives/multi-depts. in growing NM businesses.
