About the role

As an Office Manager at Floor Coverings International, you are key to the growth and expansion of the local franchise. Your success will enable more proposals to be written, lead the scheduling and installation of projects, assist with marketing efforts, and help maintain clean financials.

Responsibilities

• Customer Management
  • Develop trust with customers by living our Core Values.
  • Create raving fans by providing extra-mile service.
  • Convert leads to appointments by scheduling for the sales team as soon as possible.
  • Follow up on open proposals as needed.
  • Keep the showroom and office organized and presentable.
  • Assist in the development, management, and delivery of local marketing tactics.
  • Resolve customer conflicts.
• Marketing
  • Ensure customers feel cared for by providing extra-mile service.
  • Strengthen emotional connections with customers and the community by engaging locally.
  • Support and participate in home shows.
  • Support and implement local marketing efforts as needed.
• Operations (Production)
  • Meet with sales staff weekly to discuss recent sales and review customer expectations and product orders.
  • Order all products needed for jobs accurately and follow up on delivery.
  • Schedule jobs to meet the needs of customers and installers.
  • Communicate with installers and customers on start dates and times.
  • Update the customer with ongoing details of installation and job progress.
  • Discuss and obtain written permission for any changes in contracted work.
  • Confirm scope of work and compensation with installers prior to job start.
  • Update Salesforce/production board daily with job status and upcoming schedule.
• Financials
  • Complete the job costing form with pertinent details as jobs are landed and produced.
  • Accurately update QuickBooks daily for all income and expenses.
  • Track, prepare, and manage timely payment of business-related expenses.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Attend weekly meetings with the owner at scheduled times.
  • Submit the GS&R Prep form weekly via email.
  • Work weekly and monthly to meet goals.
  • Be available to attend training seminars at the owner’s discretion.
  • Make decisions and act in accordance with Floor Coverings International's core values and mission.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Experienced in bookkeeping using QuickBooks is a plus.
• Able to work independently without supervision.

No experience is required, but 1-3 years of experience is preferred.

Pay

$55,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year.
