Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities
- Evaluates and develops office procedures and processes to ensure the office is operating efficiently.
- Makes recommendations to leadership regarding procedural or process changes.
- Ensures daily operations align with departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
- Creates staffing schedules and informs leadership of issues regarding staff coverage, communicates with needed departments including Academic Affairs, GME office, etc.
- Manages the maintenance, inventory and purchase of office supplies.
- Captures, tracks, reports, and improves performance metrics for the department.
- Supports providers via departmental processes and procedures.
- Affords reminders to providers of required education or credential renewal.
- Participates in applicable compliance education and system integration and continuing quality improvement efforts.
- Manages departmental relationships across the network to effectively promote the strategic operational goals of the department and network.
- Supports department leaders in preparation for regulatory visits and other business matters.
- Might assist with the development of departmental budgeting and strategic direction for the department.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- 5 plus years of relevant office management experience.
- Proficient user in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
