Digital Growth & SEO
- Manage the EABC Google Website, including weekly updates to service times, sermon archives, and event calendars.
- Capture the life of the church through photography and written stories.
- Curate and schedule engaging content across Facebook and Instagram to foster community interaction.
- Optimize our online presence (Google Business Profile, localized keywords) to improve search visibility.
Administrative & Office Operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members and visitors via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Design and produce the weekly worship guide (bulletin), digital newsletters, and campus-wide announcements.
- Maintain church records, manage the facility calendar, and coordinate with ministry teams for upcoming events.
- Afford office support, assisting the Pastor with administrative tasks and ensuring the office is stocked and organized.
Specific Requirements
- A passion for the Athens, Georgia community.
- Tech proficiency: comfortable with Google Workspace and social media management tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite).
- SEO literacy: understanding of how to use keywords like "Churches in Athens, GA" or "Baptist Church near me" to improve search visibility.
- A creative eye: ability to take quality photos/videos during events to keep the website and social feeds visually fresh.
- A commitment to the mission and values of East Athens Baptist Church, maintaining confidentiality and a welcoming spirit.

- Compensation: $15 hourly
