Responsibilities
- Manages the administrative support function to assist the department in meeting goals and objectives.
- Performs all secretarial duties including typing, copying, filing, messages and desktop publishing.
- All correspondence is created and responded to in a complete and timely manner.
- Mails are sorted and distributed upon receipt.
- Menu’s are created and printed 48 hours in advance.
- Files are maintained in an easy to access manner and updated regularly.
- Maintains and updates resident menu files in Geri-Menu.
- Prints meal tickets, tallies and nourishment labels.
- Processes diet change order forms as needed.
- Verifies and edits timecards or schedules to record absences, vacation in preparation for bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Maintains an excellent level of knowledge of Kronos functionality.
- Late and Absence reports/audits are conducted on a bi-weekly basis.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years experience in a clerical position requiring strong computer and customer service skills.
- Timekeeper knowledge in healthcare.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and email skills.
- Must be familiar with general office equipment.
