Office Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Ensure all purchase requisitions are complete and accurate before creating purchase orders.
- Process purchase orders and goods receipts, including chemicals for Waste Water, office, lab, and safety supplies.
- Receive and prepare invoices for manager approval.
- Ensure all goods receipts and purchase orders are closed in a timely manner.
- Maintain vendor information in SAP.
- Communicate with employees and vendors to answer questions, obtain information, and resolve any issues.
- Allocate and prepare all warehouse documentation for customer orders.
- Aid Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse regarding questions on orders; fixing issues as they arise.
- Aid with end-of-year inventory activities.
- Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, typing, and handling mail.
- Greet and check in all visitors, ensuring appropriate procedures are followed.
- Aid warehouse/office coordinator as needed, covering duties when the coordinator is out of office.
- Enter completed work orders into the maintenance system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of applicable office/plant experience
- Strong computer skills and word processing applications
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards
- Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively while maintaining professionalism
- Physical ability to lift and move items (~ 60 lbs)
Work Environment
The position is primarily based in a clean office environment with occasional minimal trips into the warehouse. The company fosters an inclusive and professional atmosphere and is open to considering long-term opportunities for the right candidate.

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay And Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
