Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe and orderly office environment.
- Maintains the safe and reliable functioning of office equipment and facility.
- Trains and oversees the work of clerical staff in all functional areas.
- Communicates with other offices, hospital departments, and outside agencies.
- Researches and resolves appointment, scheduling, billing, and customer service problems for patients/families.
- Develops systems and procedures to improve office efficiency under the guidance of the Department Supervisor.
Requirements
- Experience in a front office medical function.
- Experience with maintaining confidential information.
- Experience working with all levels within an organization.
- Experience in healthcare (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record software and scheduling software (preferred).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- No experience supervising required.
Skills
- MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Electronic Medical Record software.
- Scheduling software (preferred).
