Office Assistant: Geneva
Major Duties
- Support engineering staff with data entry, receiving/cataloging plans, and drafting form letters.
- Aid customers at the public walk-up window with applications, permits, and payments.
- Answer incoming calls, triage inquiries, and respond to emails.
- Receive and print water-quality reports and enter data into the DOH database.
- Provide office coverage during staff vacations, sick leave, and lunch breaks.
- Distribute incoming mail, maintain filing systems, and perform general office duties.
What We’re Looking For
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Professionalism when handling public inquiries.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Work authorization without future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with CEH specific programs (SDWIS, eHIPS).
- Experience handling payments or public-facing customer service.
- Prior administrative experience in government or engineering environments.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Contract Length: Through March 2027 with potential for extension.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:45 PM.

Training: Assignment-specific training will be provided on the job.
