Responsibilities
- Provide medical oncology, radiation oncology, and/or pain management services to patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical research studies and contribute to the advancement of oncology knowledge.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Keep abreast of new developments in oncology through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
- Doctoral degree in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in oncology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Experience with electronic health records and medical software.
- Knowledge of oncology-specific treatments and therapies.
