Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Medicine Division at the University of Utah seeks an Office Administrator to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will oversee general office operations, coordinate office environments, manage equipment, and develop relationships with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of general office operations
- Covering all aspects of the daily office environment, including office maintenance, ordering supplies, and initiating facility repair requests
- Coordination with executives and management on local culture and engagement initiatives
- Acting as the face of the office and developing relationships with building management services, vendors, caterers, and internal departments
- Scheduling internal and external meetings and conference/video calls on behalf of leaders
- Managing office budget and negotiating contracts with vendors
- Performing other duties such as accounting support, reception, payroll, facilities, maintenance, supply management, and back office functions
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 8 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 6 years of directly related work experience
- Recognized as a subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor professional
- Specializes in conducting highly complex work with extensive latitude for independent judgment
- Possesses specialized skills and knowledge in office administration and management
