Office Administrator
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and tech-savvy individual to support daily office operations in our Cambridge, MA location. This part-time position is ideal for an early-career professional looking to gain experience in office administration, HR support, and workplace operations within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and assist with reception duties.
- Coordinate daily company lunches using DoorDash and other food-ordering platforms.
- Ensure lunch deliveries are received and organized for employees.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and employee orientation activities.
- Provide administrative support for basic HR-related functions and employee record management.
- Manage office supplies and assist with general office organization.
- Support scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting preparation as needed.
- Handle incoming mail, packages, and vendor deliveries.
- Assist with data entry, document management, and other clerical tasks.
- Perform ad hoc administrative projects and special assignments as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software and systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other workplace technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-service oriented.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable individual who can consistently be present during midday office hours to support lunch coordination and office operations.

Work Environment
This role is 100% on-site in Cambridge, MA. The work schedule is part-time, typically from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, totaling 20 hours per week. Parking is not compensated, so candidates must be able to get on-site each day. This position offers a great opportunity to work for a growing startup company.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
