About the role

The Office Administrator at Amarr, part of global opening solutions company ASSA ABLOY, will join the distribution center team in Fairfield, NJ. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys handling diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently answer and respond to telephone calls and customers’ needs
  • Receive and process customer orders and invoices on a daily basis
  • Provide product quotes to customers
  • Develop a strong understanding of product line and services offered
  • Aid in inventory control, including purchase order receipts and transfers
  • Maintain daily receipts and bank statements
  • Maintain customer files and pricing
  • Aid in production, product pick-up, and product delivery schedules

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year prior office administrative experience or related experience, preferably in the building supply industry
  • Experience providing quotes and processing invoices strongly preferred
  • Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

This position is Monday - Friday from 7:30am – 4pm with occasional overtime. The pay rate is $29-34 based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications. Addition compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
