Offal Yard Driver Opr DB01 (1st Shift)-Broken Bow, OK

1st Shift • Monday – Friday 2am – 10am

About the role

This position is located outside the plant; it consists of driving the yard truck to move and park trailers and trucks as needed during the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial safety check/inspection of the yard truck and document it on the inspection form.
• Maintain constant communication with the supervisor and receiving team to understand trucks that need to be backed in and out of the receiving dock during the shift.
• Monitor the radio constantly and respond immediately to requests from the supervisor or shipping & receiving team members.
• Assist receiving team members in unloading trailers as needed.
• Communicate timely with the supervisor about any issues during the shift.
• Perform any other duties as assigned or requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months experience operating an 18-wheeler/shag truck with trailer (can be a combination of employers as long as the experience totals at least 6 months).
• Must be able to back trailers using mirrors.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• No DWI/DUI conviction within the past 12 months.
• Must be willing to submit to the Non-DOT disclosure and release form to obtain MVR.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 pounds.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work with others to adhere to Tyson’s safety culture.

Pay

$18.15 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2am – 10am
