ODM Material Manager

Duration: 12-month temporary assignment | Location: Austin, TX | Work Type: Onsite

About the Role

This position serves as the single point of accountability for material readiness, supply continuity, and production execution across server and infrastructure hardware programs. The role drives MRP alignment, manages Commit-to-Build (CTB) cycles, tracks material availability against build plans, escalates gating components, and ensures on-time delivery to the global data center buildout schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end relationship with assigned ODM partners.
• Drive MRP alignment and manage CTB cycles.
• Track material availability against build plans and escalate gating components.
• Ensure on-time delivery to global data center buildout schedules.
• Manage complex BOMs in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Work directly with ODM planning and procurement teams to translate material risks into actionable recovery plans.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with commodity managers, NPI teams, logistics, PO management, and engineering to resolve constraints.
• Navigate conflict, drive accountability with external partners, and communicate status concisely to leadership.

Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience in ODM Material Management.
• Experience managing complex BOMs in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Hyperscale or large-scale ODM/EMS experience strongly preferred.
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to navigate conflict and drive accountability with external partners.
