OD Coordinator

About the role

We're seeking a charismatic Visionworks OD Coordinator who is passionate about helping customers look great and see great. The role involves being the face of our Exam Practice, assisting with OD Tech training and scheduling, and guiding patients through their eye care journey.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the training and scheduling of OD Techs
• Train and be knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care
• Guide patients through the first steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor and provide associates with necessary information to recommend products and services
• Support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals by performing tasks such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones
• Count the Optometrist’s daily revenue and prepare for deposit
• Prepare Technician work schedules to meet patient/Doctor demand

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience
• Licensed OD Techs must have and maintain a State Opticians License

Pay

Pay Class: Full Time
Pay Rate: $17.26 - 22.87/hr
